I am relationship-oriented, monogamous, affectionate, grounded, and sincere, with a non-jaded approach to life, hoping to meet a man with similar goals for dating and the possibility of a fulfilling relationship. I realize it is not easy finding compatibility with someone in meaningful ways. But I think people learn what is important in life and in what general direction they would like their lives to go. A person’s existence cannot be realistically planned out in every detail, but I think it is natural to want a healthy, loving relationship. There is so much in life to experience, and I would like to enjoy it with someone I love.

In terms of personality, I admire sensitivity, respect, thoughtfulness, sincerity, compassion, patience, individuality, and vulnerability. I am very easy to get along with, and I tend to relate to good-natured people.

Professionally, I am a medical writer, working in pharmaceutical clinical research and development. My educational background is in biology, zoology, and French. My interests include nature, pets, home aquariums, terrariums, and gardening. I enjoy visiting zoos, public aquariums, museums, and public gardens, and seeing the great outdoors while walking, driving, canoeing, or kayaking through wilderness areas. Some of my favorite reading materials include National Geographic, Discover Magazine, and Scientific American. I like TV programming on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, public television, and reruns of sitcoms like Seinfeld, Frasier, and Will and Grace. I also watch Jeopardy. I like various types of movies, especially contemporary and historical dramas. I am interested in royal history and modern constitutional monarchies.

I enjoy a variety of music, including club, 70s and 80s pop, classic disco, and country. I enjoy nightclubs when I like the music, feel like dancing, or I’m enjoying the company of friends or acquaintances. I also enjoy staying home, especially with someone I care about.

In order to stay healthy and muscular, I go to the gym about 6 days per week, where I work out with weights and cardio machines. Over the years (since high school), I've put on a considerable amount of muscle, naturally. I am seeking a man with a similar, balanced dedication to exercise and fitness.

I have lived in New Jersey my entire life, grew up in Montclair, and currently live in Bloomfield. During the summer, I enjoy bodyboarding in the surf at the Jersey Shore, especially off Long Beach Island, where I've been going with my family since I was a child. I also like vacationing in Provincetown and southwest Florida. In the future, I would like to go on cruises, visit new destinations, and pursue my interest in natural habitats. Some of the places I would like to visit are the Caribbean, Europe, Australia, and Hawaii. I think New Zealand and Central and South America sound amazing for their scenery and animal and plant life.

I am hoping to share these and other aspects of my life with a good-natured, affectionate, sincere man. I am not expecting him to fit every description or goal I’ve mentioned or to be perfect, or an alternate version of myself.
